1. Cleaning. If dust accumulates on the surface of the battery, the dust will absorb water and cause leakage between the electrodes. When checking the electrolyte level, clean the surface of the battery regularly with a damp cloth and dry it. It should be noted that do not wipe the top of the battery with a dry cloth, dust off the dust or cover the battery with vinyl film, which will generate static electricity and cause the battery to explode. Don't put your fingers or picks into the battery connection plug, and don't touch the connection electrodes of the battery, otherwise it will cause static electricity and short circuit. The battery should be cleaned before charging.
2. Pay attention to anti-vibration when handling, dismantling or installing batteries for battery forklift trucks, and the batteries for forklifts should be securely fastened on the vehicle.
3. The start-up time of each use of the starter should not exceed 5S, and the time interval between two uses should not be shorter than 15S. If the starter fails to start three times in a row, a forklift maintenance technician should be found to find out the reason.
4. When filling the battery, the electrolyte should be kept completely pure, and prevent dust from entering the inside of the battery. Frequently wipe off the dust and other unclean substances on the battery surface of the battery forklift, and keep the vent hole of the liquid filling port unblocked.
5. Supplementation of distilled water. The daily work is to fill the distilled water to the specified water level. In the long run, the recommended distilled water should be used. Don't mix it with tap water, it will shorten the service life, because it contains a lot of impurities such as chlorine, iron and so on. It should be noted that distilled water is produced through ion exchange resins,
Sixth, the storage of the battery, the battery should be fully charged before placing the battery in storage. It should be noted that before charging, add distilled water to make the electrolyte slightly higher than the specified position. When not in use, batteries should be stored at low temperature and away from light (with good ventilation, low temperature and low temperature). Sometimes it is necessary to check the specific gravity. When it is lower than 1.200, it should be charged. Perform an equalizing charge every two months. The battery is the life of the forklift, so every maintenance work should be recorded.
7. Remove the corrosion on the wire joints and poles in time, tighten the joints, and apply protective agent.
8. Regularly check the electrolyte density and liquid level of the battery forklift battery.
9. Always check the discharge level of the battery of the forklift. In summer, when the electricity input exceeds 50%, and in winter, the discharge exceeds 25%, the electricity should be replenished in time.
