Before starting all terrain forklift, first check whether there are people, livestock and other obstacles beside and under the vehicle, and close the door. When starting, first step on the clutch pedal and shift gears; then release the parking brake, and check whether there are vehicles coming from behind through the rear view mirror; then release the clutch, appropriately step on the accelerator pedal, honk the horn, and start slowly. At night, in foggy weather, and when the vision is unclear, the front and rear lights must be turned on at the same time. A correct start should make the counterbalance forklift truck stable without impulse, vibration, hard pull and flame out. As long as the gear is correctly selected according to the terrain and load conditions, and attention is paid to the proper coordination of the clutch pedal, accelerator pedal, and parking brake, the forklift can start smoothly.
1. Starting operation method, when starting, release the clutch pedal, it can start faster; when the clutch begins to engage, the forklift body shakes slightly, and the pedal feels like it is hitting the foot, the speed of pedal release should be slowed down; at the same time, the accelerator pedal should be slowly stepped on to gradually increase the engine speed of the forklift, and the vehicle will start smoothly after the power is increased. After the vehicle starts to move, the clutch pedal should be quickly and completely released.
2. When starting uphill, when starting on the way uphill, one hand should hold the parking brake lever tightly, and the other hand should hold the steering wheel firmly in the right direction. One foot should properly step on the accelerator pedal, and the other foot should slowly release the clutch pedal at the same time. When the clutch has entered the engaged state, the parking brake lever should be further released, and the clutch pedal should be completely released. The above actions must be properly coordinated, otherwise the forklift will slide backward or the engine will stall. When starting on an uphill road, it is not allowed to use the parking brake without using the right foot to step on the accelerator pedal and the brake pedal.
3. When starting downhill, when starting on a downhill road, after engaging the transmission gear, the clutch pedal should be slowly released, and the parking brake should be released while slowly stepping on the accelerator pedal. After the vehicle starts, the opening of the blinds or radiator curtains should be adjusted to quickly heat up the engine and keep the water temperature stable at 80-90 degrees.
