The daily maintenance of the forklift truck mainly focuses on cleaning, lubricating and checking the status of each component of the whole vehicle, and the driver of the forklift is responsible for it. Forklift drivers should strictly follow the content and technical requirements of daily maintenance, once per shift, and should deal with the abnormal state of the forklift in time.
The daily maintenance of the forklift includes inspection before use, inspection during work, and maintenance after returning to the warehouse. The details are explained by Shenzhen Forklift Maintenance Network, as follows:
First, check items before use
1. Check whether the fuel, lubricating oil, hydraulic oil and coolant are added enough;
2. Check the whole vehicle for oil and water leakage;
3. Check the working conditions of instruments, signals, lighting, switches, buttons and other ancillary equipment;
4. Check whether the engine has abnormal noise and whether it is working normally;
5. Check the technical conditions and tightening conditions of steering, braking, tires and traction devices;
6. Check the technical condition and fastening of the lifting mechanism, tilting mechanism, forklift frame and hydraulic transmission system;
7. Check whether the on-board tools and accessories are complete.
Second, the inspection items at work
about 2 hours after work
1. Check the working conditions of forklift engine parts, chassis parts, working device parts, hydraulic system parts, instruments and signal devices;
2. Check whether the temperature of the hub, brake drum, transmission, torque converter, gear pump and drive axle is normal;
3. Check the status and tightening of tires, steering and braking devices;
Check the level and temperature of oil, coolant, hydraulic oil, and whether there is any leakage of oil and water in the whole vehicle.
Third, the maintenance items after returning to the warehouse
1. Clean the forklift
2. Add fuel oil, check lubricating oil, coolant, hydraulic oil and hydraulic oil. If it is in a colder place in the north, if antifreeze is not added or there is no warm storage, the coolant should be drained;
3. Check the integrity and tightness of the V-belt;
4. Check the tire pressure of the forklift;
5. Check the tightening of the forklift frame and lifting chain tension bolts of the forklift;
6. Check the leakage of lifting hydraulic cylinder, tilting hydraulic cylinder, steering hydraulic cylinder and each joint;
7. Eliminate the faults found in the work;
8. Check and organize on-board tools and accessories;
9. The following items should be added for inspection and maintenance after each forklift works for 40-50 hours:
a. Clean the air filter of each part;
b. Clean the exterior of the forklift battery, check the electrolyte level and the cleaning and tightening of the electrode column and connecting wire;
c. Check the distributor contacts, lubricate the distributor shaft and cam;
d. Check and fasten the bolts that are easy to loosen on the outside of each assembly of the whole vehicle;
e. Add grease and lubricating oil to the parts that are prone to lack of oil, such as water pump bearings, steering knuckle king pins, horizontal and straight rod head pins, horizontal pins of inclined hydraulic cylinders, center pins of three-connection plates, forks, and rollers;
f. Lubricate and adjust the lifting chain.
