1. Running-in maintenance refers to the use and running-in of a new or overhauled forklift within the specified operating time, which is called the forklift running-in period.
2. Daily maintenance is the maintenance content with cleaning the forklift and external inspection as the main content. This includes inspection before use, inspection during work and maintenance after returning to the warehouse. There are specific instructions for the daily maintenance of forklifts on this site.
3. Sealed hydraulic diesel forklift maintenance means that when the forklift is not expected to be used for more than three months, it will be sealed. The sealed forklift must be in good technical condition. Before sealing, the corresponding type and level of maintenance should be carried out according to different vehicle conditions to meet the standard of good technical condition. Forklifts that are new, overhauled or have their engines overhauled should generally be sealed after the running-in period is completed.
4. Seasonal maintenance: For areas where the lowest temperature throughout the year is below 268K (-5 degrees), seasonal maintenance must be performed on forklifts before summer and winter.
5. Regular maintenance of forklifts can be said to be the most important item in forklift maintenance, as follows:
1) Daily maintenance, after each shift;
2) Level 1 technical maintenance: After the engine has accumulated 150 hours of operation, internal combustion forklifts with less than 150 hours of working time per year should undergo level 1 maintenance once a year;
3) Level 2 technical maintenance: After the engine has accumulated 450 hours of operation, internal combustion forklifts with less than 450 hours of working time every three years should undergo level 2 maintenance every three years.
II. Forklift maintenance process
1. Preparation before maintenance
Maintenance forklift type: battery counterbalance forklift
Distilled water
Extreme pressure lithium-based grease
Maintenance tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and balance rulers
Cleaning supplies such as rags
2. Follow the following maintenance process
1) Cleaning. Cleaning is the basis for improving maintenance quality, reducing wear of various accessories and reducing oil and material consumption, and preparing for inspection, tightening, adjustment and lubrication;
2) Inspection. Inspection is to determine whether the technical performance of each assembly and component is normal, whether the work is reliable, whether the parts are mutated and damaged through inspection, measurement, testing and other methods, so as to provide a reliable basis for correct use, storage and maintenance;
3) Tightening. Due to the bumps, vibrations, thermal expansion and contraction of the surface parts during the operation of the forklift, the firmness of each fastener will change, and even loosen, damage and lose;
4) Adjustment. Adjustment is an important work to restore the good technical performance of the forklift and ensure normal matching clearance. The quality of adjustment directly affects the economy and reliability of the forklift. Therefore, adjustment work must be carried out in time according to actual conditions;
5) Lubrication. Lubrication is an important work to extend the service life of the forklift, mainly including the forklift engine, gearbox, hydraulic cylinder, brake cylinder and transmission accessories joints. The entire vehicle is filled with lubricating oil, and extreme-pressure lithium-based grease is used to lubricate pressurized mechanical parts such as lifting chains and bearings, which can play a role in lubrication and rust prevention.
