How to operate a loader correctly
Jul 27 , 2022
The correct operation steps of the small loader
First, check the vehicle:
1. Check the fuel, cooling water and lubricating oil.
2. Check the reliability of driving and parking brakes.
3. Check the operation of the bucket system when it is empty.
4. Check the items related to the loader in the forklift inspection content.
Second, start:
1. Before starting, observe the surrounding area, and after confirming that there are no obstacles hindering safe driving, honk the horn before starting.
2. The brake pressure gauge reading reaches the specified value before starting.
3. Do not accelerate suddenly when starting, but start smoothly.
Third, driving:
1. Before driving, remove the front and rear body safety coupling rods and keep them properly.
2. When driving on a slope, the tow start lever should be in the ON position, and the tow start must be driving in the forward direction.
3. Changing the driving direction and changing the drive lever must be done after the vehicle is stopped.
4. When carrying materials, the lower point of the boom should be kept more than 400mm from the ground. Do not lift the bucket to the highest position to transport material.
5. Drive laterally on slopes and shovel materials should be avoided as much as possible.
Fourth, loading and unloading operations:
1. When the water temperature and lubricating oil temperature of the engine reach the specified value, the full load and load operation can be carried out. When the water temperature and oil temperature exceed 363K (90°C), the engine should be stopped and the reason should be found. When the water temperature is lower than 363K (90°C) Do not work until the time is right, otherwise the engine will be damaged.
2. It is prohibited to shovel cargo when the front and rear bodies are angled. Before picking up the goods, the front and rear car bodies should be formed in a straight line, aligned and close to the cargo pile, and the bucket should be parallel to the ground, and then the goods should be picked up.
3. Except for bulk grains, high-speed pickup is not allowed.
4. Do not lift the bucket while driving.
5. The bucket load should be balanced, and the bucket should not be loaded with heavy loads.
6. A loader is a vehicle used for loading and short-distance transportation of bulk materials. It is forbidden to use a bucket for digging operations.
7. Before leaving the vehicle, the driver should put the bucket on the ground, and it is forbidden for the driver to leave the vehicle when the bucket is in the air.
8. It is strictly forbidden to stand under the lifted bucket or carry out maintenance operations. If it is necessary to overhaul the vehicle when the bucket is lifted, support measures should be taken for the bucket to ensure firmness and reliability.
9. It is forbidden to use buckets to lift personnel to work at heights.
10. It is forbidden to directly shovel and load the materials on the ship at the shore of the wharf.
11. When working under an overhead pipeline, be careful not to touch the obstacles above when the bucket is lifted. When working under a high-voltage transmission line, the bucket should also keep a sufficient safety distance from the transmission line.
12. When dumping materials for a truck, do not scrape the vehicle when the bucket is turned forward, and the unloading action should be gentle. When unloading the truck, care should be taken that the bucket does not scratch the carriage. During the pushing or leveling operation, the operation situation should be observed at any time, and if the vehicle is found to be blocked, it should be operated with caution and not forcibly moved forward.
13. After parking, put the reversing lever in the central position, and install the front and rear body safety link.
5. Matters needing attention:
1. General safety precautions:
@The driver and related personnel must carefully read the operation and maintenance manual or operation and maintenance manual provided by the manufacturer before using the loader, and do according to the matters specified in the data. Otherwise, it will bring serious consequences and unnecessary losses.
②The driver's wearing should meet the safety requirements and wear the necessary protective facilities.
③ If the working area is small or dangerous, warning signs must be displayed within the scope or dangerous point.
④It is absolutely strictly forbidden for the driver to drive under the influence of alcohol or excessive fatigue.
⑤When maintenance or inspection is performed in the center contact area, an "anti-rotation rod" should be installed to prevent the front and rear frames from rotating relative to each other.
⑥ After the loader stops steadily, get on and off the loader at the place where there is a ladder handrail. Never jump up and down while the loader is working or walking.
⑦When the maintenance loader needs to lift the arm, the lifted boom must be firmly padded to ensure that the boom will never fall under any maintenance situation.
2. Safety precautions before starting the engine:
①Check and ensure that the lighting of all lamps and each display lamp can be displayed normally. In particular, check the normal display of the turn signals and brake indicator lights.
②Check and make sure that no one is working under the car or near the loader when starting the engine, so as to ensure that the safety of oneself or others will not be endangered in the event of an accident.
③ Before starting the loader, the shift handle should be pulled to the neutral position.
④ For the braking system without emergency braking, the handbrake handle plate should be moved to the parking position.
⑤ Only start or run the engine in a place with good air flow. If running indoors, connect the engine's exhaust port to or face the outside.
3. Safety precautions after the engine is started and during operation:
①After the engine is started, wait for the brake air pressure to reach a safe air pressure before preparing to start to ensure the braking safety during driving. If there is an emergency brake, press the button of the emergency and parking brake valve (only when the air pressure reaches the allowable starting air pressure, the button can be pressed, otherwise it will jump up automatically), so that the emergency and parking brake can be released. Start in L gear. If there is no emergency braking, just put down the parking brake handle and release the parking brake to start.
②Remove the faulty objects of the loader on the road, and pay special attention to obstacles such as iron blocks and ditches, so as not to cut the tires.
③ Adjust the rear-view mirror so that the driver can have the best visual effect after sitting in the seat.
④Ensure that the horn, reverse signal light and all safety devices of the loader can work normally.
⑤ When you are about to start or check that the steering is flexible to the left and right, you should honk the horn first to warn the surrounding people to pay attention to safety.
⑥ Before starting to walk, try all the joysticks, pedals and steering wheels to make sure they are in normal state before starting the work. Pay special attention to check whether the steering and braking are in good condition. Make sure that the steering and braking are completely normal before starting to run.
⑦ When traveling, place the bucket at a height of about 400mm above the ground. When working on slopes in mountainous areas or crossing obstacles such as ditches, you should slow down, make small turns, and pay attention to avoid tipping. When the loading surface begins to slide sideways on a steep slope, it must be unloaded immediately to prevent further sliding down
⑧ Try to avoid too many tires and excessive skidding during operation; try to avoid two wheels hanging in the air, and do not allow only two wheels to land on the ground to continue the operation.
⑨ When used as a tractor, it is only allowed to be connected to the traction device, and no one is allowed to stand between the towed object and the loader, and a certain safety distance must be maintained to prevent safety accidents.
4. Safety precautions when shutting down:
①The loader should be parked on the level ground, and the bucket should be placed flat on the ground. When the engine is turned off, it is necessary to repeatedly turn the handle of the working device to ensure that each hydraulic cylinder is in a pressure-free rest state. Pad the tires when the loader can only be parked on the ramp.
②Place various handles in neutral or middle position.
③First remove the electric lock key, then turn off the main power switch, and finally close the doors and windows.
④Do not park in areas with open flames or high temperatures to prevent the tires from exploding and causing accidents.
⑤When using the combination valve or air storage tank to inflate the tire, people should not stand in front of the tire to prevent the explosion from hurting people.
